The duties of the Senior Landscape Architect will be to be a part of every stage of the landscape construction process, including but not limited to: customer sales, rough survey, design, pricing and take-offs, construction documents, contractor coordination, design presentations, and job-site coordination. The Senior Landscape Architect must also be able to produce quality designs that fit the client’s needs and budget, as well as draft clear construction documents to translate details of the design to both Rivertown crews and subcontractors. This position will be responsible for: tracking job completion and schedule, change orders, weekly production meetings, participating in vendor events, training and management of reporting positions, and contributing to business strategies in adherence to the mission and values of the company.

Position Overview:

The Landscape Maintenance Coordinator, under the supervision of the and Director of Production/Operations, is responsible for planning, supervising, and scheduling the maintenance teams. This role involves providing clear and concise contracts with all expected services to be completed by Rivertown to the client and their properties. The coordinator is engaged in landscape preservation, enhancement, and the overall maintenance management and sales for our contracted properties. They support the full maintenance of properties along with the team members for the year-round management of all contracted properties.

The Landscape Maintenance Coordinator provides hands-on leadership with special attention to all landscape maintenance crew members to ensure that our landscape maintenance clients receive quality property management services that exceed their expectations. They play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our services and ensuring client satisfaction through effective team management and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage landscape maintenance crews.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure quality and maintenance standards are met.
  • Manage budgets and client contracts.
  • Address lawn and plant health issues.
  • Monitor irrigation systems.
  • Oversee grounds and property upkeep and safety.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and maintenance crews.
  • Assist with snow and ice removal operations and contracts.
  • Operate a snowplow truck and manage snow routes.
  • Attend meetings and planning sessions.
  • Work in the field and office as needed.
  • Develop maintenance schedules based on seasonal needs and client requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections.
  • Manage and track expenses, budgets, and client notes.
  • Communicate proactively with clients.
  • Train and supervise maintenance crews.

Required Skills:

Relevant Experience:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in the landscape maintenance industry.
  • Horticulture knowledge and Plant I.D.
  • Snow plowing and snow removal experience.
  • (Bonus) Holiday decor and lighting experience.
  • Familiarity with Landscape Design/Build.
  • Experience with landscape management software (e.g., LMN).

Benefits:
